Junior TV Presenting Course

The On Cue Communications^® JUNIOR TELEVISION PRESENTING COURSE is facilitated by Guest Lecturers such as Carly Fields (Yo TV/ One Gospel), Leeroy Wright (Craz-e), and other top presenters from Yo-TV, Craze and K-TV. Our lecturers are all experts within their field of television.

The course is extremely hands-on and a great deal of time is spent in front of the camera. On completion of the course you will receive a recognized certificate and have the opportunity to book for your showreel recording. You also get the opportunity to be part of a TV studio audience.

Aspects covered during the Junior TV Presenting Course include:

• Styles of Presenting - including co-presenting
• Relaxation Techniques - the voice and body language
• Ad-libbing and Memorization of Scripts
• Elimination of Mannerisms
• Interview Skills
• Autocue Skills
• Audition Techniques

Our requirements for the course are:

• Good Reading Ability
• Good General Knowledge
• Versatility in Languages
• Ages between 10yrs & 16yrs old
• Vibrant Personality
• Good On-Camera Look

The cost of the training course is R2, 500.00 + R500 for the showreel booking

Once you have been accepted into the course, a deposit of R1, 000.00 (non-refundable and non-transferable) should be paid, then a further R750.00 at the first lecture, and R750.00 before the final lecture. Please note that the Showreel recordings are outsourced, so the Showreel fee is only applicable after the completion of the course, once you have booked your practice sessions and your recording date.

When and Where:

Classes are held at our Randburg studios, over six consecutive days, Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 3pm. Lunch and snacks are provided. If you wish to visit our offices and studios before the course commencement date, please feel free to make an appointment with us.

On Cue only accepts between ten to twelve students per class, so be sure not to miss out on this wonderful opportunity.
