TV Presenting Course

The On Cue Communications^® TELEVISION PRESENTING COURSE is facilitated by various Guest Lecturers that include Marius Roberts (Ignition [DSTV]); Freek Robinson (Fokus [SABC]); Penny Rodel (Celebrity Manager); Dennis Tau (SABC 3 Continuity)Mannie Alho (HR [SABC]); and Paul Spence (Voice Coach). Our lecturers are all experts within their fields of television.

The course is hands-on, and a great deal of time is spent in front of the camera. Included in the course is a behind the scenes visit to the SABC and an opportunity to witness a programme shoot in studio.

All students are required to undergo a screen test, prior to the course, at a cost of R100.00. If and when you are accepted into the course, you will receive a recognized certificate and have the opportunity to book for your showreel recording.

The cost of the training course is R4,100.00 + R950 for the showreel booking.

Once you have been accepted into the course, a deposit of R1,100.00 (non-refundable and non-transferable) should be paid, then a further R1, 500.00 at the first lecture, and R1,500.00 before the final lecture. Please note that the Showreel recordings are outsourced, so the Showreel fee is only applicable after the completion of the course, once you have booked your practice sessions and your recording date.

When and Where:

Classes are held at our Randburg studios on Saturdays, from 9am to 2:30pm, over six consecutive weeks-ends. On Cue only accepts between twelve to fourteen students per class, so be sure not to miss out on this wonderful opportunity.
